Aim of the project is to re-establish the active raised bog habitats and site hydrology in the areas that are influenced by drainage and to protect the raised bog habitats, plants and animals of European and Latvian importance.

Scientist's Night in Botanical Garden 01/10/2012 14:32

Our project staff was very busy during the Scientist's Nnight event in the Botanical Garden of University of Latvia.

Project stand was very popular among the visitors and project staff was giving answers to many questions of curios visitors about mires and bogs in Latvia - about their functionality, role in ecosystem and mire plants.
