D5 Production of a documentary film.
One of the project activities is production of documentary film to illustrate the project activities and allow a wider audience to learn about the raised bog habitats. This activity was implemented by one of the project partners - foundation ELM MEDIA.
Starting from spring 2010 up to this moment the representatives of Elm Media have filmed different project activities (site visits to project areas, discussions on nature management plans etc.) as well as flora and fauna of the project sites.
The film was made in Latvian and in English, and 1500 DVD copies of the film will be made and distributed to the schools of Latvia and other interested parties. Watch the film "Mires Uncovered" below.
