Aim of the project is to re-establish the active raised bog habitats and site hydrology in the areas that are influenced by drainage and to protect the raised bog habitats, plants and animals of European and Latvian importance.

Project's traveling photo exhibition "Secrets of Mires" from August 8th until 31st is set up in Jauncodes library, Bauskas region.

The EC LIFE Project “Raised bogs” photo exhibition „Secrets of Mires” can be observed in the Jauncodes library, which is a popular place for Jauncodes residents. Thanks to energetic library manager, Jauncodes libray is the place where many events take place and on this time, this is our exhibition.
