Aim of the project is to re-establish the active raised bog habitats and site hydrology in the areas that are influenced by drainage and to protect the raised bog habitats, plants and animals of European and Latvian importance.

Seminar for Sala Secondary School about Mires 01/03/2011 00:00

March 9, 2011 in Sala Secondary will be seminar about values of raised bogs, especially about near-by Rožu Mire. There will be a contest about bogs. Exhibition "Secrets of Bogs" will be opened in Sala.
