Aim of the project is to re-establish the active raised bog habitats and site hydrology in the areas that are influenced by drainage and to protect the raised bog habitats, plants and animals of European and Latvian importance.

Informative Seminar about LIFE Program 22/03/2011 13:34

The fifth LIFE+ call for proposals was published on 26 February 2011, with up to €267 million available for co-financing of projects under three headings: nature and biodiversity; environment policy and governance; and information and communication.

In Latvia on 23rd March 2011 there will be an Informative Seminar about LIFE projects in Ministry of the Environment and Regional Development of Latvia. Information about LIFE project "Raised Bogs" will be presented by Project Manager Dr.biol. M.Pakalne.
